HISTORY

A CENTURY OF CHAMPIONS

Our dedication to racquet sports dates back to 1916, when the Club set up two tennis nets where the post office now stands. Skipping ahead decades, Kristy Pigeon honed her game on Diablo’s tennis courts as a Junior player before winning Wimbledon’s Girls Singles title in 1968. Diablo Country Club has also trained our fair share of California Amateur State Champions, competitive recreational players, and hundreds of eager children and teens.
